How well do you really know someone...

In The Dark I See You—hailed as a “compelling and complex debut” by Booklist—is an addictive page-turner full of shocking twists. Perfect for fans of books by Lisa Unger, Ruth Ware, and AJ Finn.

When a young woman, Sarah Connelly, is found murdered in her home in New York's elite Sleepy Point suburb, it triggers questions about the neighbor who discovered the body, Audrey Hughes. This kind of attention is the last thing Audrey wants. On the face of it, she moved to Sleepy Point for a quiet new start–her clean slate after a trauma left her incurably blind. Or had Audrey moved next door to Sarah to spy on her? The deeper the police delve, the murkier the truth becomes. As the book twists and turns through alternating points of view and timelines, the ticking clock of investigation collides with the explosive secrets Audrey and Sarah have been keeping.

The mystery at the heart of the story pays off big time. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

A cat-and-mouse thriller about friends/not friends that’ll hook you fast and never let go. Told in she said/she said narrative with flashbacks that keep you moving at a page-turning pace.

"This one was really brilliant. I read it straight in an hour, and I didn’t even suspect the twist until just before the reveal."

Reader Review

READ AND LOVED

This is a fantastic book!
I'm a huge fan of unreliable narrators because I can usually find a few anomalies that tell me that's what's happening but that wasn't the case here. And it's a good thing.
The back and forth between two POVs and three timelines kept the questions coming and added to the mystery.
If you're a fan of mysteries, multiple POVs, or suspense, you have to read this book.

Trish Arrowsmith, Author of

What The Children Know

If you're looking for an absorbing, twisty page-turner then this thriller will hit the spot. I struggled to put the book down. I like to be kept guessing but still feel, when the revelations come, that they've been sufficiently breadcrumbed, and Narayanan get this balance exactly right. High enjoyable, with fascinating characters, vivid settings and intriguing investigative detail. Perfect holiday reading.

Reader Review

Twisty plot, great voice, and a twist that completely caught me by surprise.

Liz Milliron,

Author of the Laurel Highland Mysteries and The Homefront Mysteries

The author is skilled at character development and her characters were flawed and relatable. Making one of the character’s blind added depth.

The end twist was unpredictable with a WOW moment  I didn’t see coming until the actual reveal.

The complex storyline, plot twist, and ending will make any reader want to pick up another book by this author.

Carole Lynn Jones,

Author of the Melody Shore Mysteries
